Certifications for Women-Owned and Minority Small Business, Monday, June 11, 2012 6:00-9:00 p.m. Government agencies and many private companies across the country are looking for opportunities to buy products and services from women and/or minority-owned enterprises. But in most cases you must prove, or be certified, as a WBE or MBE, in order to qualify for preference programs.
